When I got married, we stayed very close to the Eiffel Tower, it was right out our window in it's magnifigant majesty. We stayed at the Hotel Splendid, right next to Ecole Militaire (the military school). Hotel was ok, small room, price was good, and location was amazing.
5 things that stood out to me while we were there.
- Most Parisians were NOT rude (maybe 1 or 2)
- Every building is beautiful - we got tired of saying, oh, look at that building.
- The food there was the best we'd ever eaten, and believe me, we've eaten at a lot of top restaurants!
- Eventually, you get used to the smoke and stop hacking up your lungs
- Everyone smells, sorry, it's true!
