Let's say the NBA CHAMPION Boston Celtics were to represent the United States in the 2008 Olympics.

How good would they fare against other Nations ? Compared to the current USA TEAM ?

i think they wouldnt be gold metalists if thats what ur asking... theyre playin agaisnt international teams with their best players and not every player on the celtics would be able to face those guys.

Against the current USA team? They'd get murdered. Mainly because one of the main reasons the US has problems winning it all is because all of these other teams have been together forever. Boston would have the same exact problem, without stars like Kobe, Lebron, D-Wade, ect. Against other nations I'd say they wouldn't do too well either. They wouldn't medal.
