I live as though my life matters because I am alive to judge the contents of my life and I'd like the contents to be rational. Else, I will wind up depressed and despairing, as you are. Good luck getting over it--seriously. Read some "Chicken soup for the soul" books, or "Everything I know I learned in Kindergarten." If you really want a challenge to bring you out of your slump, read "Atlas Shrugged" to discover how philosophy is not for the ivory tower, and how it has direct consequences in the way you think and live--and feel. |
