I don't think David Ortiz is on steroids, considering what a fat tub of goo he is. But the spike in his stats between 2002 and '03 is, as Arte Johnson used to say on "Laugh-In," verrrry intereshting. Manny Ramirez? He's too dumb to figure out how to use steroids. Curt Schilling, Josh Beckett, Jason Varitek? In each case, that's not "roid rage," that's his natural personality. Kevin Youkilis?
