I would like to think that I would be someone to help!!!!!
From experience, too many people say they would help, but in all reality most people would pay no attention, walk away, or find a way to not help. This is true not only with gay kids, but any kid that finds themselves different from the all mighty "NORMAL" kids. Be it that you look different, act different, or have different beliefs than them, for many that puts a mark on your head to be sought out as the weakest with a vengeance.
It would be great to say that everyone out there would lend a hand when someone was in need. It just goes much deeper than being a gay kid!!!!! |
