Yes. But under the current system they can't prove that. I think the only team as good as them right now is Georgia. Losing to Stanford(LOL, that still hurts) takes away from losing to Oregon in Oregon by a touchdown with a backup quarterback and a healthy Dennis Dixon. The NCAA does not recognize either championship(BCS or AP) So if the AP did Give USC the AP title it is a legitimate AP national championship, since the AP does give out a trophy. |
