It's a consideration. I would probably not vote for McCain regardless of his age, but his age actually does make me somewhat less likely to vote for him. The older a candidate is, the more likely he is to die or become seriously ill while in office. I think that that risk needs to be taken into consideration. I would view McCain's vice presidential choice as being more important than some other candidates' because of his age as well. |
