| Is the Patriots potential 19-0 season a direct result of the "steroid era" of sports? I would say no, as football and steroids were some of the earliest tandems in sports. Drugs in football goes back to the early 70's when players were getting shot up with pain killers just to get on the field. If steroids were or are prevalent, then it is an even playing field and most are or were probably taking, unlike cycling or baseball where there were a few gaining a competitive advantage. |
