How to break up? - u-Assist Forums

Everytime I have a conversation with my boyfriend about something that's on my mind I end up feeling worse than before I said anything. I wished I just never even talked to him. Now things have gotten to the point that no matter what I discuss with him (money, my personal feelings, etc..) he gets angry and I end up getting blamed for something. He says one of his past relationships didn't work due to anger issues and that he's been to anger management classes and is a much better person now. I can't see what good that did him. So suggesting that is out of the question to make this relationship work. I feel so unimportant and unhappy with him. Another problem is that he hasn't been paying for anything for several months since he's lived with me. Now I am ready to end this relationship because I've had enough. Any suggestions on how to break up without a long explanation since that will cause another argument?

Since he has anger issues, I'd suggest doing it in public or having someone else there. Be prepared to change your locks and file for a personal protection order (restraining order) if he gets out of control.

Just tell him. I can't do this any more, I'm not happy. I want you and your stuff gone by the end of the week.

just say i cant stand this realtionship anymore but say it nicely and sweetly like the girl u are =D then if he gets mad call 911 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! =D

Just say good bye.. you don't need to give him a long explanation...just like he felt like he didn't need to pay for anything? Why give this douchebag an explanation? Save your time and breath and just walk out.

I no excatly what you're saying, except for the anger management classes he sounds just like my partner unfortunately.
Even down to the money part and I don't even work, I'm bringing up our two year old and I have two older children 15 and 11 from another relationship.
He's had more of MY savings than I have.
I think the best thing is to have a break, just go and see how it goes, we'll I think you and me know how it will go really but you never no, good luck.
