Before I start i would like to state that I'm a girl, and that I hate Naruto, believe it! So don't go around saying "OMG! sO yOU LIke NarUTo!!?!?!?" ( Sorry for being mean about Naruto for the fans that are helping me)

I'm the mood for a new anime, since all my other animes that I watched either ended or I'd rather read the manga then watch the anime. What I've seen so far:

I'm looking for a romance series and/or a series that will make me cry at the end, that series msut be relatively new, and the characters can't have big chibi eyes, and stuff like that. I will also watch Yaoi if theres a good one. I also like series with dogs and people with dog ears.

Well, I would suggest Chobits, Shonen Onmyoji, and Ah My Goddess. Definitely check out Shonen Onmyoji. Eps 1-19 are on youtube.com

well, the best anime ever with dog ears IS inuyasha (as you mentioned ^^ lol!!)

gilgamesh is not really a romance series... there is love in it though... and wow... i think youll cry! i really cried at the last ep!

um... ive never seen the series Bokura ga ita (romance) but people always reccomend it to me and tell me it has a really sad ending ( i dont usually watch romance anime much ^^)

hana kimi is a really great series (manga/drama) also called hanazakari to kimitachi e.
the end isnt really sad... well... i cried... but thats because it was one of my longt time fave mangas and it ended. also cuz something sad happens... but its not like "omg cry" type sad.

bitter virgin is sad. its a manga... you can read it at onemamga... but its sad. though it hasnt ended yet... its still sad... ^^

okane ga nai is my fave yaoi anime (well, right after gravitation ^^) theres only three OVA's out now... but the manga has already reached chapter 23 ^^

you should also watch the firs OVA of close the last door by yuugu yamada. its really awesome. the also have the manga at places like mangatraders and youtube.

and you might want to try the series La corda d'oro. some eps are kinda sad... and theres no REAL romance (there is some though ^^)... but its a very...er... "musical" show and its just way awesome!!!
