That's crazy talk. Ortiz is great, both for the game of baseball, and in how he gives back to his community. People make him an easy target for jokes because he's hefty. That can only mean that they are jealous and insecure.

And to hate him because he is a DH is silly. He's just doing his job, he didn't make the DH rules.

Papis on steroids. He was nothing at Minnesota and he moves to Boston and is suddenly amazing. I also hate how he doesnt work in the field like other players. Notice how people in the AL that play the field sometimes take a break and playys DH for the night. This shows that playing the field takes energy out of you that Ortiz is lazy and fat and on steroids.
