How much would you pay free agent Curt Schilling?

I think both the Angels and the Brewers have an ace (Lackey and Sheets), but I don't see him as getting more than $6 mil plus incentives. I still think Philly. If he thinks he's still an ace, he's mistaken.

Cleveland is attempting to sign Sabathia. In the past, John Hart wanted Schilling and Schilling said no to the Indians so funny he has them on his list now and they probably are not interested. Mark Shapiro is looking to get a longterm deal done with Sabathia plus the Indians have a young starter in Aaron Laffey plus Adam Miller who is ready to come up from the minors. I am sure the Indians are not interested in paying 13 mil for one year to Schilling. Not with trying to sign Sabathia. We wanted you in the past, Curt, but take your old butt somewhere else now.

Not much since he doesn't have much left in the tank.

For his age and experience(like Kenny Rogers) I would pay him 12 million at the most,..Santana will get 20-25 million from someone....Schilling to the Angels is my best bet( or Phillies if they want him for old time sake)

8 million tops. Otherwise, let him go where ever he wants. In fact , I'd be happy if he left the Boston area. While I'm happy that he helped us win 2 world series, I'm sick of hearing his blowhard opinions.

Don?t be surprised if the Mets have an interest. It?s not like they haven?t hired 40-something players before. (And having a few World Series rings never hurts in negotiations!)

Personally, I'd say 10 mil plus incentives.

Wow.

His results were very mediocure for a man that has the experience and researches opposing teams that much. He's getting up there and didn't come out stong for a few consecutive starts until late in the season.

I don't think he is worth that much. It looks to me that he is past his prime at 41. Plus the Sox are still left with Beckett, Lester, Dice-K, Wakefeild, Buchholtz, Taveraz etc. and those are just the starters.
