Da Vinci Code

I don't read many books, but when I heard that the movie was coming out last May, I immediately picked up this book so I could see both versions.

I ended up hating to have to put the book down, I loved it! I thought the ending was sort of disappointing though, and as it turns out, I never got a chance to see the movie! I heard it wasn't that good though.

Currently Feeling

Thats the thing about books, once you read it the onscreen version doesnt compare or stand up to the book. Imagination is a wonderful thing.

I saw the movie, never read the book. The movie sucked though, Tom Hanks felt like the wrong guy to play that part. It's a shame too, cause I usually like his movies.

I didn't try reading the book because I wasn't sure if my faith was stable enough. But when I saw the film, I realized it wasn't something that could affect me easily. Or, probably, it was because the story was presented in a different way in the movie.

I didn't have access to the published material at all. But I think it's a good thing since I didn't want to end up uncertain about my religion.
