Remember the one who wrote while dog walking?

Birdsong fills the Autumn air,
A leaf flutters by and lands just where
A miriade of flowers grew in colours of a rainbows` hue.

Now there is just a bonfire heap,
A pile of death where insects sleep,
A pile I had to cut and reap.
A job I hate, to put to sleep my garden.

It needs so much care and it is where
I do have time to stand and stare.
When tending my beloved plants
My mind in in a state of trance.

Mundane thoughts just disappear,
My mind is planning for next year
And vizualizing things to rear in
My garden.

Now borders will be dug and fed,
My new roses need a bed to rest in peace,
While we gardeners dread, the winter.

There`s not much fun in gales and rain,
And sodden ground is such a pain,
With snow and ice sure to come again in
My garden.

It`s best to sit down by the fire,
And plan ahead, past muck and mire
Forming pictures in my head of plants to buy in the months ahead.
The colours I want in every bed.
Oh I can`t wait, I need to be in?

Aah i remember your last poem.I praised you for your multitasking skills.It's weird that you have posted this poem today as i was only thinking this morning as i wondered around my own garden how drab and gloomy it looks now that the summer blooms are dead.I have to think about getting all the plants tended to so that they bloom again next year.I keep putting it off but will regret it if i don't get me wellies on and get working.A lovely seasonal poem my dear and very well written.

I'm not sure if i read your other one but if the answer is yes that you wrote this I'm wondering why your not published, you obviously have great talent,,it is beautiful, and I'm not one who's really into poetry i usually don't get it, some of it is just so difficult it's like putting together a math problem, but then again i feel the same art i have no idea how one determines if art or poetry is great for me the simple and understanding is what i like
