When I was a kid, I visitied a huge, amazing garden near Calabash, N.C -- any idea of what it was called?

I've been trying to remember, but I can't. It seemed huge, there were flowers and statues, a cafe, a swamp (or maybe it was a lake, but it looked like a swamp) and a boat that took me out on the swamp... Any ideas? I really want to go back there and bring my gf, I think she'd love it.

The only garden I've been to in NC is the Vanderbilt Estate. It is amazing and beautiful, perfect for a date like that. (She'll love you forever...

However, that does not jive with what location you are talking about. Look up the Vanderbilt estate, and check that out. If nothing else, you could go there. Amazing really. Do the horse tour and a picnic, awesome.

If not that then, I did a search for you: See below, and read through it.

Good luck!

What you describe sounds a lot like Brookgreen Gardens, but it's not near Calabash, NC; it's many miles south of Myrtle Beach, SC between Murrel's Inlet and North Litchfield Beach.
