A serious question, no unknowledgable opinion-based answers please. Should I trade my PS3 for an Xbox 360?

Is it worth holding out for better games for the PS3, or is the lack of exclusive games compared to the Xbox make it pointless to keep? Halo 3 is tempting, as is Bioshock. And with the failure of Blu-ray to take over the market like anticipated and the iminent drop in PS3 price, is Playstation going to be second best by far?

The 360 is not as powerful, but has more and better games. The ps3 has free online play, but xbox live is only 4 bucks a month. Most of the games for both systems are shared, so its really up to you what you want.. for me its 360 all the way.

good question. as an xbox 360 owner myself, I would have to say that you will not be disappointed if u do because, as you said, halo 3 is fucking awesome. i do plan on getting a ps3 later next year though due to mgs4. you wont regret trading it in for xbox 360 and, at worst, you can probably buy the ps3 later for a cheaper price when better games come out.

more are coming because developers cant fit the amt of info they need on a dvd but they can with blu-ray so therefore xbox wont be getting the games

xbox 360 is a piece of crap. 33% hardware failure(ring of death)
ps3 .2%- less that 1%
they said that gta 4 will be on mulitple discs for 360 due to lack of space that dvd has, plus they need a downloadable content that needs to be downloaded. ps3 will only get 1 disc because it is able to fit all of the info on it and have the downloadable content already on the disc. that tells you a lot about the xbox and what the ps3 can do better than xbox

i say trade it for a xbox 360. much much better games like halo 3, bioshock, skate, and other good games. a much bigger selection. sony always delays there releases and sometimes they cancle a game all together. like rainbow 6 vegas got delayed for the ps3 and the psp. spiderman 3 got pushed pack from may to november for the psp. you can never trust the sony realese dates. it could take forever for a game to come out i bet grand theft auto 4 will get delayed. microsoft is a much better choice. they make awesome games and they only delayed like one game halo 3 fo16 days
