Now that Windows XP SP3 has reached RTM status, when will it be available for puchase?
When can I buy an OEM copy of Windows XP SP3. I know it has reached RTM status and would like to know what day they will begin shipping it to retailers. Im going to buy an OEM copy from newegg.com.
I can see the first 3 people tried to answer my question but missed. I didnt ask if the SP3 was a free upgrade. I asked when the OEM version of Windows XP SP3 would be shipping to retailers. Anyone who can answer that question? Thanks.

NEVER
the CD will ship as is, they are already made, and M$ ain't making more.

You need to download th SP3 updates and install them after the OS is installed

microsoft has delayed issue of sp3 due to incompatibility issues

The upgrade will be free when it is released so it does not really matter.
