Dream Analysis?

I have been seeing these weird dream for the past few days, Maybe someone can analyze them and tell me what it's all about. I keep dreaming about new-born birds, really tiny ones, they seem to be a few days old, extremely vulnerable and fragile. I am worried about them and I always think that they will fall off from the nest and be eaten by a cat or a dog, and I guess in one dream sequence a little bird does fall off and I am really sad because I know that it's going to die. I have no clue why I keep seeing this dream except for the fact that this bird thing used to happen during my childhood. I have seen quite a few baby sparrows falling off the nest and dying and I always wanted to save and protect them but in vain. Also recently a friend of mine gave birth to twin daughters who were born 12 weeks premature. It's a miracle that they have survived. They are still in the ICU and still very very underweight and I do worry about them a lot. Can someone interprete my dream?

Perhaps this is some form of ethereal way (do you believe in God?) of getting you to do something, or delivering a message of some sort. The baby birds, being babies, symbolize innocence and naivety, and birds are usually thought of as signs of freedom and leadership. You wanting to protect that may be something being told to yourself. Perhaps you are meant to save those qualities within yourself. Are you under stress? Have you had any major conflicts lately? New born birds - life are fragile, need for support

As you have said recently your friend gave birth to twin daughters and born prematurely. That may be why you had that dream about birds. Birds falling symbolizes help is needed. Even though eventually they can fly. What you look for now is current situation, you are feeling helpless in some way. The one who gave birth was not you, the bird that was falling was not you.

What an interesting dream. It reminds me that several times |I have dreamed of fragile animals, usually kittens, who seem half starved, neglected, weak, and I feel I must protect them and care for them.
I believe dreams of fragile young animals could be about fragile parts of oneself that have been neglected, and are perhaps crying out for attention, and for something to be done about them. Perhaps the dream is a pointer to a part of your life or psyche that you need to emphasise, give more importance to, or develop. If this rings a bell with you, start thinking what the area of yourself or your life is that you may have neglected up to now.
