Q? of philos. should have phil. premises. Many in YA do not. Many answers are not phil. Wht's the epist here?

Questions of philosophy should have philisophical premises. Many in YA do not. Many answers are not philosophical. What is the epistemology in YA that leads to this?
<I>, your answer is actually correct and almost the perfect answer I wanted, but your attack is unwarranted, sir.

Question--you think my question is an attack? Read the answer that <I> wrote and you will see what I was looking for.

It all depends on the starting point of the question asked. Indeed this is not a new thing to philosophy at all. The real question here could well be do philisophical questions always need deep and meaningful philisophical answers? It may well be that it is not the answers that have shifted at all but indeed the understanding of the questions...................

If people feel a question touches our hearts and minds in any way, they post it here. Don't discourage people from asking, or answering. We can learn from all of them.

What the heck do you mean by 'epistemology "in" Y!A'? ... Y!A is predominantly an entertainment site - NOT a professional philosophical forum. The very nature and inherent limitations of this venue do NOT allow for a critical philosophical inquiry / analysis. People ask their otherwise thought-provoking questions under the philosophy category mostly to forget about their daily routines, while interacting with others on a more intellectual level. They are NOT particularly concerned about philosophical purity/sublimity, nor are they ignobly self-righteous and/or pretentious enough to regurgitate BIG WORDS in meaningless contexts! ... Have yourself a NICE day!
