There are conversion programs but an easy way to do it is in itunes.
When you load itunes for the first time it will search your computer and convert any non protected wma songs (windows media player default) to aac.
Then you can switch the itunes default, under preferences, from aac to mp3. You can then highlight all the songs and under advanced convert to mp3.
It sounds complicated but it really isnt.
If your songs are protected then you will have to burn them to a cd and them reimport them into itunes after you have changed the itunes default to mp3.
Your songs will now be mp3 on your computer under whatever music files you have the songs under on your computer.
you might want to look up info on windows media player because most music players have the ability to convert music files. Media player might just have one too. |
