Wireless Help PLEASE??

My GF has brought a new laptop and she has it on the internet ok, but she wants to use the wireless router she has bought.

After much searching in the computer and the internet, it appears that the Wireless Lan in the comptuer is not switched on (enabled)

The computer is a E-System EI 3102, I have searched the internet for a manual as she has lost hers!!!

All help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance
sorry, I meant to ask how do I turn the wireless in the computer on (enable it)
Dave P

Yes you are right, I never noticed that, I have turned it to the on position, but when I view networks it still doesn't show, the router is a BT Voyager 2091.

Wireless Help PLEASE??

Go to Start,

Connect to,

Wireless network connection.

Or

Start,
Connect to,
Show all connections,
right click on the wireless network connection and enable it.

There is a slim chance that the computer is Not actually equipped with an internal wireless card and you may have to go buy one.

After switching it on, you need to restart the machine.
