Pre-marital sex

Are you in favor of pre-marital sex? Some say they have to test the "merchandise" for compatibility reason before making a lifetime commitment.

It is a decision for two consenting adults. Pre-marital sex is common and no longer unusual in a relationship. Lovers justify it as an expression of feelings.

That has become part of our everyday culture and is widely accepted. Look at th divorce rate these days.

I think that is one of the reasons the divorce rate is so high. Sex has become just that, an accepted part of our culture. You didn't have that back in the old days.

I've always been for premarital sex, although not to test the merchandise.

If the two people are in love, it shouldn't matter when they have sex, as its an act of love.

I don't know, I've always seen it as a strict no no to have sex before marriage. Call me old fashioned, but I think a couple should be married before anything happens

I've had sex before marriage and it seemed fine for me at the time, but I can understand why some people would want to hold on for a bit. To keep sex as something special can be a good thing, and should be promoted more widely, or suggested rather than taught.

Me and my girlfriend have been thinking about having sex for sometime, but we're just unsure at the moment whether or not to hold on, so I can definitly see the appeal of premarital sex

I think sex is an important part of a relationship, but I think it only should be engaged if the two people actually truly love each other. Marriage is just a piece of paper, honestly.

As long as the commitment and feelings are there, I think it's all good.
