summer europe trip destinations?

my best friend and i are planning to tour europe over the summer after we graduate high school... where do you suggest we go? we're already planning to see england, spain, ireland, frace and germany, but these are all very rough schetches/ideas. where do you think we should go?

The way to go is Switzerland, Italy and England. If money's an issue, then Eastern Europe - Hungary, Poland, Czech.

Why don't you join a teen travel program? I think it is safer than travelling in a foreign country without an adult. It is also better because they think of the hotel, meals, and attractions so you don't have to. You also will make new friends. But I think it is a more expensive.

Being the geography guy and all and having researched every country in the world, I suggest you don't go to Germany, Spain, Ireland and Britain. Instead, go for a more unique destination like Iceland, Sweden, Belarus, Romania, Moldova, Austria, Luxembourg, Russia, and Czech Republic. In Iceland, there is the major glaciers like Vatnajokull and is one of the most geologically active spots in the world nicknamed "The Land of Fire and Ice". There are also the famous hot springs in Iceland. Iceland is one of my favorite countries in the world.

However, there are better places and more exciting places in the world then Europe. Try Antarctica, Nepal, Pakistan, Egypt, Uzbekistan, People's Republic of China, Vietnam, Brazil, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, and the list goes on.

If you are a first timer in Europe, focus on the capitals like London, Paris, Geneva, Rome, Berlin.
