In spain all mobile phone numbers start with a 6 eg.6XXXXXXXX they all have 9 numbers in the phone number how many combinations is that

It`s 699,999,999 thats nearly 700 million combinations which is more than the number of people who live in Europe...
When i lived in Spain my mobile no started with 649...

Since the first number is 6, there are only 8 more numbers with a possibility of 10 numbers for each (0-9, with 0 being an option).

So the answer is 6x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10
Which give you 600 million number combinations.

If the first numberwere not 6, and could be any of the 10, there would be a billion possibilities
