Hmm.

Got a problem with the Welsh have we?

That's ok, I'm English.

Now, what you need to do is not go to Scotland or Ireland but simply stay in England.

It's great, and we can't play golf for toffee.

Although I have never been - I have been told that the best time to go to Scotland is September/October I understand the autumnal colours are wonderful. Overall spring traditionally is more likely to be showery although this year has been quite wet so pack an umbrella. As to the least crowded time on roads and trains I would guess August when many "Brits" go abroad during the school holidays but we are a smallish island and with approximately 60 million in the country it is always quite busy wherever you go. What ever you do and wherever you travel I hope you enjoy - have a good time.

Are you sure you can find the right car or bus. First Ireland is not part of the Uk!. Only N. Ireland is. Best time is always different for different people. If you like crowds and freezing weather then Christmas is good. If you like heat and crowds then summer. If you are middle of this then choose the other seasons. If you like crowds choose the holiday times.
