| Obama, Clinton, Edwards? The election process goes through many stages of development, until a candidate is chosen for election day.
The preliminary stages are now determining what the people of various locations prefer.
The next stage would be the convention, where the two parties chose both president and vice president candidates.
After the conventions, then they begin campaigning.
The months ahead in 2008 will be consumed by this process, and most other news gets second billing.
What you will find amazing is that these candidates that are trying to get the most primary votes are fighting against members of their own party, until a "deal" is made, and they decide among themselves who should proceed, and who should bow out.
Sometimes, enemies within their own party join for the sake of having their party win.
Thus came the expression..."politics makes for strange bedfellows". |
