About John Edwards?

I've been looking up the candidates and found I favor Edwards tremendously.

Do you like him? why/why not?
Why do you think it is that he doesn't get as much attention as Clinton or Obama?
He did come in 2nd in Iowa correct?
to those accusing him of profiting from the poor, may i please see a reference? If you want to accuse someone of an act like this you need to back up your claim.

About John Edwards?

Edwards says he's the champion of the downtrodden, yet he made his fortune off the backs of the downtrodden.

About John Edwards?

He is definitely the best candidate.

He is in a bad spot. Obama surging is a great story. Hillary losing is a great story. He's caught in the middle.

Also being the anti-corporate candidate doesn't endear you to the corporate media so I'm sure they are happy to not cover him.

About John Edwards?

I can tell you my first thought of him he is a trial lawyer, who gained his wealth by ambulance chancing. I don't say that just because he's a lawyer but because of his record. He exploits that there are two Americas but his wealth came on the backs of the less fortunate.

About John Edwards?

i get the feeling that he is sincere and honest...not use to seeing that in any politician

he would make a good president, but i don't think he has the momentum to win, if Obama wins i would hope that Edwards would be his choice for vice president

either way it doesn't matter i like Hillary although she is obviously too ambitious (that can be a bad thing) but she knows what she wants and goes after it.
Obama is powerful in his words and i think that he has the determination to turn his words into action.

About John Edwards?

I think he just has the image of two things. First, he was on the losing ticket last time. And secondly, he is seen as simply a slick lawyer who got rich off of suing big business, getting his sizeable cut of the settlements. If his cut were smaller, the "hard working class" claimants would have gotten more of it. So, he has some image in many people's minds as just another opportunist.

I live in his home state of NC. I never voted for or against him. Well, in the last election, I voted for some 3rd party candidate.

I like him... it's just he's still hurt from the 2004 elections and comes across rather bitter.

About John Edwards?

I admire his ideas far more than anyone else's, and I know more about constitutional government than anyone on planet.
I like him.
I trust him.
I believe he has experience, intelligence and the right approach.
And the way the 80% right-wing media are attacking him--you know he's right, as I do.
The media are applying a wrong dogma and writing about "positions" in the latest poll, not ideas at all. If the news twisting pundits had given John Edwards equal and unbiased coverage from the beginning, there would be only one agent of change people would now trust--the man who has fought corporate and bureaucratic insiders for many decades. Not someone who discovered "change" as a buzzword yesterday.

Obama is a nice guy, but he's wrong about bringing normatives together with fundamentalists opponents of the American Constitution, with pseudo-religious fanatics, with
jihadists crazies and right-wing dictators all over the globe.

Edwards has the right message--oppose what Dwight Eisenhower once called the military-industrial complex of corrupt and corrupting influence peddlers.

If we do not get Mr. Edwards, whoever we get will be just another sold out politicoan--but I sure hope it's a Democrat.
Four more years of what we've seen and we can never restore the constitution. This is our last chance to do the job, since it was killed in 1902, finally died in 1994 and the clock is ticking.

Every time we see a promising bill, it gets watered down and comes out as useless. Enough is enough. Edwards For Change!

About John Edwards?

john edwards is a great candidate. his views and stances on issues are honest without all of the politics included. for those of you who blames him for making his money off of the poor or what not, that only means that he WORKS for the poor.

he is not extremely rich like some of the other candidates. he earn his money honestly and through hard work. he embodies the self-made man. and i dont think any one can hold that against him.

there are not many lawyers who are eager to represent the poor because they might not get paid as nicely compared to representing rich people. but HE DID. he didnt do it for free, no, but he did it though.
