Fire bellied toad question can anyone help?

Ok i have my 10 gallon tank set up for some fire bellied toads i will be getting soon and i know that you should have the tank going for a couple days before adding anything so i want to make sure i have everything right.

I have half of it water and it goes up like a beach by gravel on the other side i have a closed lid and i have a water heater at 78F is this ok?



And i was woundering if i even needed a water heater?

That sounds like a great setup! And yes, you do need the water heater. Outside temperature will affect the water (though slowly) and sometimes it gets too cold for the toads. Good luck!
