Will N. Carolina's 7 Democratic House members who are poised to endorse Obama finally convince Hillary to go?

While Sen. Hillary Clinton promised over the weekend to fight for the nomination all the way to the convention, the Wall Street Journal reports on its front page this morning that "slowly but steadily," a "string of Democratic Party figures is taking" Sen. Barack Obama's "side in the presidential nominating race and raising the pressure on Hillary Clinton to give up." North Carolina's seven Democratic House members "are poised to endorse...Obama as a group -- just one has so far -- before that state's May 6 primary, several Democrats say."

Probably not, but after the primaries in early May she might decide to quit. It all depends on the next few primaries.

I don't know why you Obama supporters feel so insecure that you want Hillary to just go away, maybe you are not as sure of your candidate winning as you like for us to believe. If you are so secure about his nomination, why worry about whether she stays in or not.

I hope Obama wins, but I agree with him that Clinton can and should continue to campaign until the outcome is decided. No good comes from short-circuiting the process.

I'm glad for Obama's support, but there is still pleanty of time to settle this.

What the media isn't reporting is that this is actually a very close race and neither candidate can win with pledged delegates. Let the contest play out.

She will not go willingly. She, for some reason, thinks she can still win. As proven by her "sniper" remarks, made three times, she is dilusional. But she will not go without kicking and screaming. She should already see the writing on the wall after her "friends" bailed on her and gave their delegates to Obama. Even her friends are jumping ship.
